Give the Gift of Hope

As a guest of the MDA Black 'n Blue Ball, you have the unique opportunity to give the Gift of Hope to a child living with muscular dystrophy.  Guests can make donations to help send kids to MDA Summer Camp during the evening program of the Ball.  The cost to send one child to MDA Summer Camp, at no cost to the parents, is $800.

Donations support the local MDA Summer Camp, held at Camp Courage near Maple Lake, MN.  Campers will tell you that the week they spend at MDA camp is "the best week of the year".  Memories that last a lifetime are made at camp.  You can help continue those memories in 2008. 

Over the years, guests at the MDA Black 'n Blue Ball, have raised over $162,000 during the Gift of Hope portion of the evening program to support MDA Summer Camp.  This has helped send over 250 kids to MDA Summer Camp every June.

Anyone can count the number of seeds in an apple...but no one can count the number of apples in a seed. Never underestimate the impact you can have on those around you as you remember the thousands of families that are counting on MDA to provide help and hope.  Thank you for giving the Gift of Hope!
